The top news today, IMHO: Sigma SD1 Priced at $9700, Arrives in June (published by Realgage)

Sigma announced today that its flagship SD1 DSLR will be available starting in June 2011 with a hefty price tag of $9,700. First announced last year, the 46-million-pixel DSLR is billed as Sigma?s most sophisticated SD camera yet. The Sigma SD1 features a 46 megapixel 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor, plus a lightweight body made for magnesium alloy. The 46MP based on the Foveon APS-C sensor captures 15MP worth of info for each primary color ? as opposed to the traditional alternating Bayer design with one color per pixel. The camera also sports dual Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine (TRUE) II image processing engines for faster processing and subtler color tones.

The latest Apple patent, which has been discovered by the guys over at Patently Apple has revealed that Apple has something new planned for future displays on its iPhone’s, iPad’s and iPod’s, a privacy mode.

The patent shows a new privacy mode which will allow a user of a device to steer display light beams in a range of directions, which would provide them with a new privacy option and would mean that only someone looking directly at the device would be able to read what is displayed on the screen.. HP has just announced that their latest HP TouchSmart 610 all-in-one (AIO) personal computers are available for purchase now. Back to February, HP was unveiled its TouchSmart 610 all-in-one PC. HP’s 60-degree reclining TouchSmart 610 all-in-one PC has now underwent a Sandy Bridge update. There is the option to choose between four different processors, the Intel Core i5-2300, i5-2400, i5-2500 and i7-2600 for the 610xt. The new updated version will be available in two different models, the TouchSmart 610xt and the TouchSmart 610 Quad. The new HP?s 60-degree reclining desktops are provides a 23-inch 1080p LED-backlit touchscreen display, up to 2TB of storage space, up to 16GB of memory, and a DVD burner.

The HTC Flyer is a fast, portable, light-weight tablet that integrates the immersive and highly intuitive HTC Sense experience and enables content including videos, music, games and more to be easily accessed and enjoyed. In order to take advantage of the HTC Scribe functionality one must purchase the stylus separately. It will go for $79.99 at Best Buy, which is quite disappointing, since European versions will come with the penincluded.
