During the Photoshop World 2011 Keynote Adobe took the opportunity to unveil their new ‘Real’ Photoshop iPad application which is currently under development by Adobe.

The live demo showcased the layer animation feature within the new app together with a couple examples of some of the standard functions any Photoshop user would expect. A year has now passed since the first release of Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft has now released figures measuring the progress of their new Windows Phone 7 platform over the past year.

From the figures released by Microsoft it shows that their app store now contains over 11,500 apps of  which 7,500 are paid apps for WP7. Microsoft also notes in their release that they have concentrated on quality rather than quantity, which would explain while they are a little way behind Apple’s 350,000 applications.. More…

To begin with: iPad 2 Radio Teardown Compares WiFi, GSM, And CDMA Versions (published by Geeky-Gadgets)

The team over at iFixit has been at it again, and stripped Apple’s new iPad 2 down to its bare bones, to compare the radio technology used in the different version of the iPad 2. Below the main boards are compared each boards looks identical on the right hand side, but the top ones is equipped with a Toshiba chip on the left while the other two use Samsung.

The bottom two boards are also CDMA and GSM versions which are equipped with extra chips and technology on the left had side of the boards, to provide the communication from the CDMA and GSM.. Read full story…

The new Nintendo 3DS went on sale in Europe and the US recently, and now Nintendo is claiming that the first day sales of the 3DS are the highest of any Nintendo handheld system, although they haven’t as yet provided any actual sales figures.

Some of our readers will remember the HTC Merge that was announced a while back, it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo and features a 3.8 inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY Antenna Installers keyboard.
