The latest in a long parade of titles that almost makes me agree with Jenova Chen is Dawn Of Fantasy, an RTS with an MMO stuck to it. And don’t get me wrong, judging by the trailer and setting aside niggles like the weirdly synchronized animations this looks suitably epic, with massive amounts of units and gargantuan battles, it’s just that the trailer completely fails to convey why the MMO part is important.

Yes, this again. There’s been what, two whole months without a major studio closure. Granted, these guys weren’t exactly setting the world alight, but Tron: Evolution was all sorts of OK and Turok wasn’t all that bad either. Neither of them bombed anyway. But apparently they were also working on some stuff that did, including a Pirates of the Caribbean game that never saw the light of Aerial installation day.
